First Sparta Small Tire Shootout a success!!!

Well I just wanted to formally announce that the first Sparta Small Tire Shootout was a great success! If I had to list every single person who made this what it was, I would run out of space here.

A BIG thank you goes out to all the racers that showed up- we had 19 cars for the shootout, and a handful more showed up to grudge...without the racers support, this event would not have been what it was. I hope all the racers enjoyed themselves and this style of racing and that everyone will be back for more in the near future! Congratulations goes out to Jeff Vance on the win who walked away with close to 2 grand in cash and a set of Mickey Thompson tires, and Ken Fantain on getting runner up with double his entry and a gift certificate to Gibb's chassis and fabrication! The racing was tight every round and had the crowd on their toes!

I also wanted to thank all the excellent and hardworking staff that made this event a success. My team and Jay Morse and the crew at St. Thomas were key in having this event run as successfully and smoothly as it did! The track surface was awesome, and I can attest to the hardwork that everyone involved put in for this event to be the best it could have been.
